Set in the Western Section of the Madikwe Game Reserve - Madikwe Mooifontein is a private, newly offered bush retreat for the exclusive use of families and groups of up to 10 people and is sold as a complete camp.  It is an option for cost conscious groups wishing to visit the Madikwe Game Reserve.

The camp is located in the bush and is protected by an electric fence.  The main lodge houses the communal kitchen and lounge area.  In front of the main lodge overlooking the private waterhole where animals regularly come to drink; is a shaded porch and private swimming pool.

Accommodation is in glass fronted units.  Each well appointed unit has its own bathroom with inside and outside shower.  The units also include a small kitchenette where personal refreshments may be prepared.

The malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve is ideal for game viewing and boasts the "Big 5."  Lion, Leopard and large herds of Elephant, as well as Black and White Rhinoceros and Buffalo may be seen.  Other animals in the reserve include Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena, Giraffe, Wild Dogs, Eland, Sable Antelope, Gemsbuck, Tsessebe, Red Hartebeest, Springbuck, Impala, Zebra and the rare Klipspringer may be encountered.

The reserve is also well known for its excellent birding; with over 400 bird species having been recorded in the area.
